proximity to restaurants, ease of access to tourist attractions, no bed bugs
The non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke upon arrival!!! The crooked shower needs immediate attention, as it sprays water in the wrong direction, making a mess every time you shower!!!

fantastic access to niagara falls and local dining treasures
I really appreciated the great location close to the majestic Niagara Falls and the abundance of delicious dining options just a short walk away, making it easy to grab a bite after a day of exploring. and even though the breakfast could've offered a bit more variety, it was still a nice perk to start the day.

Had a great time with friends! We loved the mini-golf and the easy access to nearby spots like Old Falls Street and the Niagara Glen Nature Centre. Rooms were comfy, and it's located in a fun area with food options around. Definitely a solid choice for groups looking to have some fun!
One downside was the noisy guests outside our room late at night—that made it challenging to get a good night's sleep.

Friendly staff provided great local tips and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast included some good options, though adding savory items would enhance it. While the room was clean, some areas showed signs of wear, and the morning meal could be improved beyond basic offerings. Despite a few shortcomings, it serves well for a night’s stay, especially for dog owners.

staying at howard johnson was a pleasant experience. the location was clean, and the staff were extremely courteous. we had a minor issue with our bathroom sink, but it was fixed quickly. breakfast staff did a great job, especially the thin, bearded guy who ensured everything was in order.

Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic
I just had the best time! The King Suite Spa Bath was a total dream. I could unwind in the jacuzzi after a busy day exploring. Plus, the seasonal outdoor pool was so refreshing on a sunny afternoon—it was the perfect spot to chill with friends! Seriously, you can't beat the fun vibe of this place.

I appreciated the friendliness of the staff at Howard Johnson. They provided helpful tips for getting around Niagara Falls. The complimentary breakfast included tasty options and was well stocked. The bed in my King Suite with Spa Bath was good enough for my one-night stay, and the TV worked well. However, my room had a strong cigarette smell. The AC was excessively loud, and I had issues with the jacuzzi water pipes making noise at night. I also found the parking fee of $10 unreasonable with no gated entrance. The bathroom exhaust didn’t function well. For one night without high expectations, it was decent, but improvements are definitely needed.

Needs Major Improvements but Convenient Location
The experience here was disappointing overall. The convenient location is a plus, but the room needed serious updates. Avoid the on-site breakfast. instead, head to nearby cafes. The staff was relatively helpful when addressing issues, but a thorough renovation is crucial for comfort.
